All About: The Agents & Angels Series

While this website may be new, my journey as a writer has been much longer, including stories that I have already published. Even though Agents & Angels and Agents & Angels II: The Wolfpaw Initiative came out many years ago (2014 and 2017, respectively), I wanted to give them their time in the limelight with a new segment, All About.

What kind of books are Agents & Angels I and II?

These novels are my love letter to the spy, espionage, and action genre. I’ve always been a huge fan of James Bond, Ethan Hunt, Jason Bourne, and others. Writing action is something I enjoy immensely, so being able to write my own spy series – especially as my first two stories – was incredibly rewarding and exciting. If I were to pick ONE comparison for these, I often explain that these are most closely related to the Mission: Impossible films.

What was your favorite part about writing these novels?

In the moment, my favorite part of writing these was both the action sequences (I was very much in “The Flow“) and the confidence in the story. I had the end in mind for both books individually and the series as a whole and that gave me a lot of assurance as I navigated my way through the inner chapters.

Have you re-read this series? What do you think about it now?

I have re-read them a couple times actually, even as recently as earlier this year! And you know what? I still love these books. Admittedly, my writing “maturity” and ability has improved and there are parts of Agents & Angels where I see how far I’ve come (I use far too many words throughout that tale, for example). But in terms of characterization, plot, twists, and resolutions…I am still proud of them. Even knowing the story, I found myself invested – on the edge of my reading seat – in the exciting adventures of Bryson, Rachel, Dynadin, Ian, Henry, and other characters.

Is Agents & Angels suitable for children? What would it be rated as a movie?

Agents & Angels is not suitable for children, though I could make the argument that it would be fine for teenagers. It – like almost all my fiction writing – is “R-rated” for language, violence, mature themes, and some sexual depictions (Oooo spicy!)

Can I buy these books now? Where? What else would you like me to know?

Yes! Both of these stories are available to purchase on Amazon.com in paperback and newly re-formatted Kindle ebook. Eventually, they will be available for purchase via other avenues and I’ll update this segment when that finalizes. You can find out more on the Agents & Angels page on this very site.

Should you choose to purchase my stories (these or ANY future ones), just know I’m eternally grateful and would 1000% appreciate you leaving a review. Reviews on Amazon are highly impactful for indie writers, even if it’s not 5-stars! Thank you!!
